More than half of the people who try to deposit for the first time fail at the payment step, not because they changed their mind: a method that is not available in their country, a card that the bank blocks for online payments, a transfer that never arrives. This page gives, country by country, the method that goes through most often, the ones that get declined, and the backup to try. The figures come from the platform’s own payment data for 2025–2026.

Before you pay: three checks

  1. Pick a method that is available for your country: the deposit page lists the local methods first. A method that is “missing” is usually one that is not offered where you are.
  2. If a card is declined, it is most often your bank refusing an online payment, not the platform. Call the bank or use another method rather than retrying ten times.
  3. Start with a small amount: the minimum is $5, and a first deposit of $10 to $20 is what most people in these countries do. You can add more once you have seen the money arrive and traded once.

The money left your account but nothing shows

Keep calm, keep the proof, and write. In most cases the amount is either refunded by the bank within a few days or credited late by the provider.

  • Keep the receipt or the bank line: date, amount, reference.
  • Wait a few minutes and refresh the balance: some transfers are credited with a delay.
  • Write to the Pocket Option support from your account, with the receipt, and to the Optencis support so we can follow the case with you.

Minimums and timing

Pocket Option shows a minimum deposit of $5 and a minimum withdrawal of $10; withdrawals are processed by hand, usually within three business days. Details, verification and bonus rules are in our guide: Pocket Option deposits and withdrawals. Before your first real trade, read how much to invest per trade, and if you prefer to practise first, the demo account needs no deposit.
