This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Optencis (“we”, “us”) collects when you use optencis.com, the Optencis tools and the Optencis Telegram bot (together, the “Site”), why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have. We collect as little as we can: you can read the Site without creating an account, and we do not run advertising or analytics cookies. The members’ tools (the Optencis Wire board, the signals and the Telegram bot) need a little more data, described below.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The Site is operated by Optencis. Optencis is the data controller for the processing described in this policy.
For any question about your personal data, write to [email protected].
2. Who the Site is for
The Site is intended for adults (18 or older, or the age of majority where you live) who live in countries where binary options are permitted. It is not directed at residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or other countries where binary options are prohibited or restricted, and we may block access from those countries. Because some visitors may still reach the Site, we apply the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to everyone, wherever they are.
We do not knowingly collect data about minors. If you believe a minor has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
3. What we collect and why
When you visit the Site
Like any website, our servers and our network provider receive technical data with each request: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser and device type, and the country your connection comes from. We use this data only to deliver the pages, keep the Site secure (for example against attacks and automated abuse), enforce country restrictions and fix errors. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
We also look at audience statistics provided by Cloudflare, computed from this technical data. They do not use cookies or similar identifiers and do not follow you across other websites. We only see aggregated figures, such as the number of visits, the pages viewed, the sites that sent visitors, and visitors’ countries and types of device.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and understanding how it is used.
When you click an Optencis link
Our partners and influencers share tracking links (for example on go.optencis.com) that lead to the broker’s website. When you click one, we record the link that was clicked, the date and time, the country your connection comes from and the type of device (mobile, tablet or computer). We do not store your IP address for these clicks. This lets us count how many people each partner sends.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring and paying our partner programme.
When you open a trading account with Pocket Option through our links
We are an affiliate of the broker Pocket Option. If you register with Pocket Option through one of our links, the broker shares with us, through its affiliate programme, a limited set of data about your account: the trader ID it assigned to you, your country, your registration and last activity dates, your account status (including whether you have self-excluded) and financial figures such as deposits and balance. The broker does not give us your name, e-mail address or identity documents. We never store your broker password.
We use this data to calculate the commissions owed to us and to our partners, to verify that you are eligible to use the Optencis tools (which are reserved for users who registered through Optencis or one of its partners), and to detect fraud. Your relationship with the broker, and the data you give it, is governed by the broker’s own terms and privacy policy.
Members list on the Site. Every 30 minutes, our partner dashboard copies to the Site’s server the list of eligible trader IDs, with the total of each trader’s deposits and, when known, their balance. The Site uses this list only to recognise members when they sign in and to set their access level to the signals (see “When you use the signals” below). It contains no name or e-mail address.
Legal basis: performance of our agreement with you when you use the tools; our legitimate interest in running and auditing the affiliate programme.
When you sign in to Optencis
The members’ tools (Optencis Wire, the signals, the free course and the “My account” page) are reserved for people who opened their Pocket Option account through Optencis or one of its partners. You can sign in in two ways:
- With your Pocket Option ID (“My account” page): we check that the ID is in our members list. This sign-in is for reading only (Wire, course, list of signals). Because an ID is not a secret, it never allows any action on your trading account and does not show your access level, deposits or balance.
- With your Pocket Option account, by e-mail and password or with Google. Your e-mail and password are sent directly, over an encrypted connection, to Pocket Option’s partner service, which tells us whether your account was opened through Optencis. We never store or log your password. If your account uses two-factor authentication, your code is sent the same way, and your e-mail address is kept on our server for 10 minutes so that you do not have to type it again. With Google, Google gives you a sign-in token that we pass to Pocket Option, which uses it to sign you in (or to open an account for you if you do not have one). When the Google button is shown, Google’s script is loaded on the page; Google’s own privacy policy applies to it.
Robot check: before a sign-in is checked, a Cloudflare Turnstile check confirms that a person, not an automated program, is signing in. For this check only, Cloudflare processes technical data about your connection and browser, such as your IP address. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy applies to it.
We keep your Pocket Option ID, and the way you signed in, in a cookie on your device (see section 4), to keep you signed in. We do not keep a record of your sign-ins on our servers, apart from short-lived security data (a fingerprint of your IP address, kept 15 minutes, to limit repeated attempts).
If you open a Pocket Option account from the Site with the Google button, we send Pocket Option your Google sign-in token, your IP address (so that the broker can set your country) and attribution data: our affiliate link and, if you arrived through a partner’s link, that partner’s identifier.
Legal basis: performance of our agreement with you (access to the tool you asked for).
When you use the signals
The signals page (/signals/) shows short signals of 1 to 60 minutes and ultra-short signals of 5 to 15 seconds. You can read them and trade by yourself without giving us anything more. Your access level depends on the deposits and balance described above: free demo trial, full access, or a daily demo limit when your real balance has stayed under $5 for more than 48 hours.
Linking your account to trade from Optencis. If you want Optencis to open trades for you (the “Launch” button of a signal, automatic copy, or packs of ultra-short signals), you first give your explicit consent on the page, then sign in to Pocket Option again (e-mail and password, or Google). Pocket Option then gives us an access key to your account (an access token and a renewal token, not your password). The key is encrypted on the Site’s server, handed to our signals engine and kept there, encrypted, for as long as your account is linked. We use it only to:
- open the trades you asked for, on your demo account, or on your real account only if you gave a separate consent for it;
- follow those trades and read their result;
- read your real-account balance, to respect your amounts and daily limit, to avoid sending a trade your balance cannot cover, and to set your access level.
We also keep the settings you choose on the page (demo or real account, amounts, daily limit, strategies, durations, minimum payout, martingale, packs), the date of your consents, your recent trades (signal, asset, direction, amount, account type, result and profit or loss), your packs of ultra-short signals and their result, and the counters of your free trial.
Stopping. The “Stop everything” button cancels your scheduled trades and stops automatic copy; like the “Unlink my account” button, it deletes your access key from our server. Trades already open at the broker run until they expire. To trade from Optencis again, you link your account again.
Some preferences of the signals page (the tab you last opened, sound and vibration alerts, messages you closed, the result of the pack simulation) are stored only in your browser (see section 4).
Legal basis: performance of our agreement with you (the trading tools you asked for) and your consent to trades being opened on your account, which you can withdraw at any time.
When you use the Optencis Telegram bot
The bot @OptencisWireBot sends members Wire ideas and signals of 1 to 60 minutes in a private Telegram conversation. Telegram is an independent service: your messages with the bot pass through Telegram and are subject to Telegram’s own terms and privacy policy.
You link the conversation to your membership in one of two ways:
- From the Site (the Telegram button on /wire/ or on “My account”, or a sign-in button in the bot, which brings you back to the bot once you are signed in): the Site creates a single-use code, valid for one hour, that tells the bot who you are and whether you were signed in with your Pocket Option account. If you were, and your account is linked to trade from Optencis, you can copy a signal or start a pack of ultra-short signals from the bot, on your demo account only.
- By typing your Pocket Option ID in the conversation: the bot asks the Site whether this ID is in the members list (at most 5 attempts per hour). The answer is only yes or no; your deposits and balance are never revealed. This link is for reading only: you receive signals and trade by yourself.
For this, we store: the identifier of your Telegram conversation (for a private conversation, it is the same number as your Telegram user ID), your Pocket Option ID or, if you used a Wire access code, an anonymous reference to it, the language you chose, whether your link was made after a Pocket Option sign-in, your choices (Wire messages, signals, automatic rhythm, durations, minimum payout), the signal messages sent to you for 3 days so that they can show the result, and the packs you start from the bot. We do not store your Telegram name, username or phone number.
The /stop command, or blocking the bot, stops all messages. To have your Telegram data deleted, write to us.
Legal basis: performance of our agreement with you (the service you asked for).
How our news, ideas and signals are produced
We use an artificial intelligence service (Anthropic’s Claude) to read public news sources (news agencies, central banks, the economic calendar) and to help write our news articles and Wire ideas. Only public news content is sent to this service, never data about you. The short signals come from an automated signal engine that applies technical-analysis rules to market prices; we send it no data about you.
If you are a partner or influencer
If you join our partner programme, we process the information needed to run the partnership: your name or public handle, e-mail address, login details for the partner dashboard, payout details (such as a crypto wallet address), the statistics of the traders you referred and the history of your payouts.
Legal basis: performance of our contract with you; our legal obligations (accounting).
When you contact us
If you write to us, we use your e-mail address and the content of your message to reply and to keep a record of the exchange.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
E-mails we send
Service e-mails (for example to partners) are sent through Brevo. Brevo records whether links in those e-mails are clicked: links are routed through a Brevo address (r.email.optencis.com) before reaching their destination. We do not send marketing e-mails without your consent.
4. Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies: our audience statistics (provided by Cloudflare) work without cookies. The cookies below are needed for the Site to work:
- Security cookies set by Cloudflare (such as
__cf_bmandcf_clearance): they help distinguish people from bots and are only set when needed for protection. They do not identify you. - Login cookies set by WordPress (such as
wordpress_logged_in_*andwordpress_test_cookie): only for people who log in to the Site’s administration, to keep them signed in. opx_po(30 days): your Optencis session. It keeps you signed in to the members’ tools and contains your Pocket Option ID, the way you signed in (with your ID or with your Pocket Option account), its expiry date and a security signature. Signing out deletes it.opx_wire(30 days): only if you were given an access code for Optencis Wire; it remembers that the code was entered.opx_tg_back(30 minutes): only if you open the Site from a button in the Telegram bot; it remembers to send you back to the bot once you are signed in.g_csrf_token: set by Google’s sign-in button, only if you use it, to protect the sign-in against forgery.
We also use one partner attribution cookie: opx_ref (30 days), set only if you arrive through a partner’s or influencer’s link. It stores that partner’s identifier, so that a Pocket Option account you open from the Site is credited to that partner. It contains nothing else about you.
Browser storage. Some pages keep small preferences in your browser’s local storage: your progress and checklists in the free course, your economic-calendar filters, the preferences of the signals page listed above, and whether the demo-account window was already shown to you. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it by clearing your browser’s data for the Site.
The cookies needed for the Site to work do not require consent. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the Site may then stop working. If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this section and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Cloudflare: network, security (including the Turnstile robot check on sign-in) and audience measurement for the Site and our links.
- Our hosting providers: the servers that run the Site, our signals engine and our partner dashboard.
- Backblaze: storage of encrypted backups.
- Brevo: sending service e-mails.
- Google: sign-in with Google, only if you use it.
- Anthropic: AI processing of public news content (no personal data).
Pocket Option is not our service provider but the broker you have an account with. When you sign in, open an account from the Site or link your account, we send it the data described in section 3 so that it can check, open or connect your account. When your account is linked, we use your access key to send it the trade orders you asked for and to read your balance and the results of those trades. Telegram carries the bot’s messages if you use it, under its own terms.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, to protect our rights or to prevent fraud, or to a buyer if the Site is sold (in which case this policy would continue to apply).
6. International transfers
Our service providers, Pocket Option and Telegram may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States and countries of the European Union. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the safeguards it provides for such transfers, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses offered by these providers.
7. How long we keep data
- Technical data from visits: only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
- Link clicks and trader data received from the broker: for as long as the affiliate programme needs them to calculate and audit commissions, and then as required by accounting rules. The members list on the Site is refreshed every 30 minutes.
- Partner data: for the duration of the partnership, then as required by accounting and tax rules.
- Messages you send us: as long as needed to deal with your request.
- Optencis session: your Pocket Option ID stays in a cookie on your device for 30 days, or until you sign out.
- Access key to your Pocket Option account: until you unlink your account or press “Stop everything”.
- Trades opened through Optencis and packs: 30 days in our signals engine; the Site keeps only your most recent ones for display. Your settings, the date of your consents and your free-trial counters are kept while you are a member, so that the free trial is given only once per account; you can ask us to delete them.
- Telegram: signal messages for 3 days; your link and your choices until you ask us to delete them.
Encrypted backups of the Site are kept for up to about 13 months and then deleted automatically.
8. Security
The Site is only served over HTTPS. Access to our servers and dashboards is restricted and protected by strong authentication, and the Site is kept separate from our partner dashboard: the dashboard sends the members list to the Site, but the Site has no access to it. Access keys to Pocket Option accounts are encrypted, and backups are encrypted before they leave our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will inform you and the competent authorities of a breach where the law requires it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know whether we hold data about you and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, some processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
You can do some of this yourself: sign out, unlink your Pocket Option account or press “Stop everything” on the signals page, and send /stop to the Telegram bot. For anything else, write to [email protected]. Because the broker does not give us your name or e-mail address, please include your Pocket Option trader ID. We may ask you to prove that the account is yours. We answer within 30 days. Some data must be kept despite a deletion request, for example for accounting obligations.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of the country where you live, if there is one.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when we launch new tools. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we will make it clearly visible on the Site.
